Melty is an open-source AI code editor (acquired by Block/Square) designed around the concept of an AI pair programmer that has full context of your session. Unlike tools that respond only to explicit prompts, Melty observes your coding session, understands what you are trying to accomplish from your edits, terminal output, and errors, and proactively suggests completions and fixes. It integrates Git and runs tests to verify changes before suggesting them.
